I just want to share with you a cool technique a tried today. If you use yellow, orange and red, you get a result that looks like fire.
This is what you need:
Distress ink: Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Ripe PersimmonMini Mister or anything else you can spray with
Craft Tags
Ink Blending Tool
Pipe cleaners (silver or gold are best beacuse they are a littel stiffer than others)
First you just distress your tag with Mustard Seed
Then you take your Ripe Persimmonand press it on to your work surface and trag it some distance away from were you pressed it down.
Now you spray it with water. Don't add to much water. Just so it becomes liquid ish.....
Take your Pipe Cleaner and drag it in the ink.
Then drag it over the tag. Do this until you have the effect you want.
Clean you work surface and then take your Fired Brick. Do the same as with the Ripe Persimmon.
To get rid of the last color just use a tissue or something and drag it around the Pipe Cleaner.
Now spray the ink.
Do the same as you did with Ripe Persimmon.
When you are happy, use a Heat Tool or just wait until it is all dry.
Here is the finished Tag. Look likes flames, right?Here have i decorated it:
